Temperature dependences of mechanisms responsible for the water-vapor continuum absorption. II. Dimers and collision-induced absorption.
We investigated the magnitude and temperature dependence (T dependence) of the dimer absorption in the region of 0-600 cm(-1) and the collision-induced absorption (CIA) in the region of 0-1150 cm(-1). Together with our previous study of the self water-vapor continuum contributions resulting from far-wing line shapes of the allowed H(2)O lines in the infrared window between 800 and 1150 cm(-1), ...
متن کاملCollision-induced dissociation mechanisms of [Li(uracil)]+.
The collision-induced dissociation (CID) of the [Li(uracil)](+) complex with Xe is studied by means of quasi-classical trajectory calculations. The potential energy surface is obtained "on the fly" from AM1 semiempirical calculations, supplemented with two-body analytical potentials to model the intermolecular interactions. The simulations show that Li(+) production is the primary channel, in a...
متن کاملCollision induced absorption in CO2 at 0.091 cm-1
2014 Collision induced microwave absorption has been studied at 0.091 cm-1 and 293 K up to 60 amagat density. Expressing the dielectric loss 03B5" in the form 03B5" = A03BD03C12(1 Bp), where 03BD is the frequency in cm-1 and p is the density, we find A = 0.22 10-7 (cm.amagat-2) and B = 0.008 2 (amagat-1). As a result the molecular quadrupole moment of CO2 is calculated to be 5.6 10-26 (esu). J....
